War of Words Expose More Corruption

N S Sajith

NEW chronicles of corruption are getting exposed as war of words between home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishanan and UDF chief whip and Kerala Congress (Mani) leader P C George continue.  P C George who has been waging a strong campaign against Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has made an allegation against the home minister’s son.

George alleged that the home minister is keeping a shady relation with Abhilash Muralidhran, a Gujarat based Malayali industrialist who has a rapport with Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi. He added that Radhakrishnan’s son Arjun Radhkrishnan has been serving as a director in Abhilash’s company.

This scathing attack became significant in the backdrop of a controversial meeting between chief minister Oommmen Chandy and Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and a ministerial team from Gujarat who came to the state capital to seek the state government’s support to build the statue of Sardar Patel. It is worth mentioning that chief whip George inaugurated the mass run organised by the BJP in Kottayam in connection with the statue building and his photograph, waving a T-shirt with Modi’s picture was published. In this function he found enough time to eulogize Narendra Modi.

The chief whip made fresh allegations when he was attacked by the Congress leader for his presence at the BJP function. He challenged the home minister to clarify whether a mineral water company is owned by him or not. Abhilash Muralidharan has dubious relations with the BJP leaders in Gujarat, George added.

Countering these allegations, the home minister made counter allegations against P C George.
