Welcome Verdict

  

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement on November 5, 2013.

 

COMRADE Pinarayi Vijayan, member of the Polit Bureau and secretary of the Kerala state committee of the CPI(M), has been discharged from the SNC-Lavalin case by the CBI Special Court at Thiruvananthapuram.

 

This verdict exonerating Pinarayi Vijayan from the charges is welcome. It is a vindication of the stand taken by the CPI(M) that these charges are baseless and it was a political motivated case.
