Delegation to DPRK
Sitaram Yechury, member of
parliament and Polit
Bureau member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) is
leading an official
Indian delegation on a visit to Democratic Peoples'
Republic of Korea (DPRK) to
participate in the Victory Day celebrations on July 27.
The
delegation is being sent upon the invitation of the DPRK
government to be part
of the celebrations to commemorate the 60th anniversary of
its victory in the
Korean War. Other members of the delegation are, one
Congress MP and a BJP MP
and two officials from the ministry of external affairs.
