Murder
of Nun Condemned
THE
CPI(M) strongly condemns the brutal murder of Sister Valsa
John in the Pakur
district of Jharkhand.
Valsa
John had been fighting for the rights of the tribals and
against their
displacement due to mining activities, since 1995. Her killing
is a result of
the threat posed to the mining mafia.
The
Polit Bureau demands that the state administration take
immediate steps to
arrest the culprits and initiate their speedy trial.
