CITU Demands Immediate Steps to Control Price Rise

Asking the central as well as state government to take immediate steps to bring down the prices of essential commodities, he said the situation needed to be dealt on a war footing. The working class people have been hit badly due to the rising prices of essential commodities, he said.
Javaid Zargar said that the labour laws must be strictly enforced and its violators must be taken to task by the administration. He stressed that a National Social Security Fund must be created to provide for a national floor level social security to all the unorganised sector workers including the contract and casual workers in line with the recommendations of the parliamentary standing committee of labour.
