Team Meets Chinese Delegation
A
delegation of the
Communist Party of India (Marxist) led by M K Pandhe, Polit Bureau
member and consisting
of Hari Singh Kang, Central Secretariat member and R Arun Kumar,
member,
International Department of CPI(M) met
and had discussions with a six-member Chinese delegation led by Liu
Qibao, member
of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, secretary
Sichuan Provincial
Committee. They had exchanged opinions about the current developments
and
expressed a desire for further strengthening of ties between both the
parties, countries
and peoples.
The
Chinese delegation
had presented a 42'' LCD TV and a DVD player to the Dr Kotnis Memorial
coming
up at Solapur, Maharashtra, the home town of Dr Kotnis. Dr Kotnis
memorial
would be opened on December 9, this year, on the death anniversary of
Dr
Kotnis.
