                        Jyoti Basu Returns

                        To His Residence

 

VETERAN communist leader Jyoti Basu has returned to his Salt Lake residence in good health.  The CPI(M) Polit Bureau member has been asked to take things easy for the coming weeks.  He is ambulatory and in general good condition. 

 

Jyoti Basu was earlier admitted to a medical institution after feeling ill on the early morning of July 12, 2009.  Jyoti Basu who reverted to normal diet once he was on �home grounds� is 96 years of age.
