MAY DAY celebrated at A K G BHAWAN
May Day was observed at the CPI(M) headquarters in Delhi amidst revolutionary music and the play Machine , first staged thirty years ago by the Jana Natya Manch. The red flag was unfurled by Polit Bureau member S Ramachandran Pillai in the presence of CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat, CITU President M K Pandhe, members of various mass organisations and others.
CITU president M K Pandhe called for greater unity to defeat the global designs of imperialism led by USA and castigated the neoliberal policies, galloping inflation, rise in prices hitting the common man and the working classes both in organised and unorganised sectors, besides others.
