DEAR comrades, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation extends to you, the delegates to the Congress and to all the Party members fraternal greetings and wishes of success to the Congress.

Your Congress will review the results of the past years and determine tactics for the coming period.

We are well aware of the successes achieved by the Communist Party of India (Marxist). Together with the other Left-wing forces you have managed to strengthen your positions in Indian society. These successes have been achieved through serious political struggle. The Russian Communists express their solidarity with and support for all those who oppose the forces of reaction and who do not spare themselves in fighting for the rights of the working people. The Indian Communists counter the onslaught of imperialism and neo-liberalism with cohesion and heroism.

Dear comrades, we highly value the relations of friendship and cooperation between our parties and are ready to promote them in the future.

We express the confidence that the decisions passed by the 19^th Congress of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) will contribute to the strengthening of the authority and influence of the Party in Indian society.
