CBI Officer Arrested In A Disproportionate Assets Case

 

A K Sahay, a senior officer of the CBI, presently posted in Bengal, was arrested by the vigilance wing of the CBI itself on a case where the officer was found to possess assets that were not proportionate to his income.

 

The officer has been looking after the Tapasi Malik case. Tapasi had been found dead in Singur near the automotive factory coming up. The CBI has been making inquiries about the case under Sahay’s leadership for the past few months. (B P)
