Vietnam Dy PM Visits AKG Bhavan

A SIX member delegation from Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by the country’s deputy prime minister, Pham Gia Khiem, visited the central committee office of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), A K G Bhavan in New Delhi on February 27. CPI(M) Polit Bureau member and head of international department of the Party, Sitaram Yechury received the delegation and held discussions. 

 

Khiem, who is also the minister of foreign affairs, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam and co-chairman of Vietnam-India Joint Commission was also accompanied by Vu Quang Diem, ambassador of Vietnam to India. Hari Singh Kang, member, central secretariat of the CPI(M) was also present in the meeting with the delegation.

 

The Vietnamese delegation is visiting India to participate in the meeting of the Indo-Vietnam Joint Commission. (INN)
