CC Pays Homage to the Memory of Com Sergio Vilarigues.

THE Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) expresses its sorrow at the death of Comrade Sergio Vilarigues, one of the outstanding leaders of the Portuguese Communist Party. The life and work of Comrade Vilarigues was remarkable in the struggle against fascism, imperialism and in the cause of the working class. His contributions in the struggle against the fascist regime and in the anti-colonial struggles in Southern Africa will always be remembered. 

The Central Committee of the CPI(M) pays its respectful homage to the memory of Comrade Sergio Vilarigues.
