Newly-Elected CITU Leadership
The 12th conference unanimously elected a 35-member secretariat, 425-member general council and a 125-member working committee in the election held on the concluding day of the conference.
The following is the list of newly elected secretariat members:
President: M K Pandhe
General Secretary: Chittabrata Majumdar
Treasurer: Ranjit Basu
Vice Presidents: Jyoti Basu, E Balanandan, Md Amin, T K Rengarajan, P K Gurudasan, Shyamal Chakraborty, K N Ravindranath, Arati Dasgupta, K L Bajaj, V J K Nair, S K Bakshi, Deben Bhattacharyya, K O Habib, Raghunath Singh, Mercykutty Amma and Sudha Bhaskar.
