PB Condemns Trinamul Hooliganism
The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India(Marxist) issued the following statement on December 1, 2006
THE Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) strongly condemns the Trinamul Congress MLA’s action of rampage on November 30 in the legislative assembly of West Bengal and murderous attacks on the Left Front MLAs injuring more than six MLAs. The Congress and the BJP are openly conniving at this approach by supporting Trinamul Congress’s undemocratic programmes reflecting their political frustration.
The destruction of furniture in the assembly premises and other property has clearly exposed the fictitious claim of Trinamul Congress in democracy and law and order. The pre-planned attack in the assembly deserves to be condemned by all the people having elementary regards for democracy.
The Polit Bureau calls upon all democratic forces to condemn this hooliganism and not to allow such undemocratic action in future.
