EMS Trust Formed
An “EMS Foundation Trust” has been registered in New Delhi. This is as per the decision of the Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) to sponsor a research institute in Delhi.
The EMS Trust will set-up the institute which will promote research from a Marxist standpoint in various fields and also on alternative policies.
The Trust has five members as trustees. They are Prakash Karat (Managing Trustee), S. Ramachandran Pillai, Sitaram Yechury, Prof. Prabhat Patnaik and Prof. Irfan Habib.
