COMRADE P SUDHAKARAN
The central committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) issued the following statement on October 8, 2006
THE central committee of Communist Party of India (Marxist) expresses its deep sorrow at the sudden, untimely demise of Comrade P Sudhakaran. He was a member of the CPI(M) Kerala state committee and secretary of the CPI(M) district committee of Alleppy. He died yesterday evening while taking part in the Party state committee meeting at Thriuvananthapuram. His entire life was dedicated to organising the exploited and downtrodden sections of our society.
The CPI(M) central committee conveys its heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and to our comrades in Kerala.
AIKS CONDOLENCE
The All India Kisan Sabha expressed its deep sorrow at the sudden demise of Comrade P Sudhakaran, a member of AIKC and vice president of Kerala Karshaka Sangham. He was also district president of Kerala Karshaka Sangham of Alleppy. Comrade Sudhakaran died on the evening of October 7 while taking part in the state committee meeting of the CPI(M).
The AIKS noted that Comrade Sudhakaran had dedicated his entire life for organsising peasants and agricultural workers. It felt that his sudden death would be a great loss to the peasants, particularly of Kerala. The AIKS dipped its red banner in memory of Comrade P Sudhakaran and sent its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. (INN)
