following is the text of the letter written by CPI(M) veteran leader and Polit
Bureau member Harkishan Singh Surjeet to Comrade Fidel Castro, President of the
Republic of Cuba on August 4, 2006.
DEAR
Comrade Fidel Castro,
I
am very much worried and concerned about your health.
I
am glad that the surgery performed on you was successful and that you are on
your way to recovery.
I
wish you a speedy recovery and am sure that you will be back to office
discharging your responsibilities as before.
