Students Youth Protest Israeli Attack

Protesting in front of Israeli embassy in Delhi

On the call of DYFI and SFI, youth and students gathered at Israeli Embassy in New Delhi to protest against the brutal attack on Palestinians and their elected representatives. The imperialist alliance of America and Israel abused all the norms of independence and sovereignty of the people of Palestine, while kidnapping 7 cabinet ministers and around 60 members of Parliament and senior government officials.

The protest rally culminated in a meeting in front of the Embassy which was addressed by .Pushpendra Tyagi, K.K.Ragesh and R.Arun Kumar. All the speakers expressed solidarity with the struggling people of Palestine and strongly condemned Israeli attacks and its occupation of Palestine.

The strength behind the role of Israel is obviously the encouragement and protection from the US and European Union. Israel is the most trusted US ally in West Asia as far as the neo-colonial enterprise of the US is concerned. It is very much unfortunate that the Indian government is building  very close military ties not just  with US but also with Israel. India is already the second only to the US as a buyer of the Israeli armaments.

The speakers also called upon the Indian government to oppose the heinous Israeli move. They urged all Palestinian groups to come together in this critical hour and forge the largest possible unity amongst the Palestinian people.

DYFI and SFI also urged the democratic, progressive and anti-imperialist people of our country to rally for the Palestinian cause against the brutal Israeli attack.
