PB Mourns The Passing Away
Of Comrade K Ramani
The CPI(M) Polit Bureau has sent the
following condolence message on passing away of Comrade K Ramani, veteran leader
of the Party and working class movement, to secretary, Tamilnadu state committee
of the CPI(M) on May 31, 2006.
THE Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) mourns the passing away of the Comrade K Ramani, veteran leader of the Party and the working class movement. Comrade Ramani spent more than six decades devoting his time and energies in developing the working class movement in Coimbatore and Tamilnadu. Hailing from a very poor family, Ramani had a hard life and was drawn to the communist movement. He rose to be one of the important leaders of the Communist Party and the trade union movement in Tamilnadu. He ably represented the working people in the Tamilnadu assembly and in the Lok Sabha.
Comrade Ramni’s life is an example for all communists to follow.
The Polit Bureau conveys heartfelt condolences to his family members.
