Saffron Goons Attempt To Vandalise CC Office

 

Following is the text of the statement released by the Delhi state committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on January 5, 2006.

 

IN the name of a protest demonstration, a handful of hoodlums belonging to the VHP and RSS attempted to forcibly enter the central office of our Party at 11.00 a.m. today. Evidently, the intention was to vandalize the Party office. This was however, prevented by the vigilant workers of our Party.

 

The Delhi State Committee of the CPI (M) strongly condemns the Sangh Parivar outfits who organized this dastardly act. The Delhi Police, despite prior information about this demonstration did not deploy sufficient personnel at the Party Office in a timely manner. This is unfortunate.

 

The Delhi State Committee of the CPI (M) condemns the VHP-RSS hoodlums for trying to attack the Party’s Central Office. It demands that the Central Government and the Delhi Police should ensure that such undemocratic attempts to attack the offices of political parties are prevented in future.
