On Railway Accident
The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) issued the following statement on October 29, 2005.
THE Polit Bureau expresses its deep shock at the train accident in Andhra Pradesh. The submergence of 10 coaches of the Repalli-Secunderabad passenger train in the breached reservoir waters has led to heavy loss of life. The government and the railway authorities must spare no effort to rescue passengers and provide prompt medical treatment to those injured. The enquiry should quickly establish how the accident took place.
The Polit Bureau conveys its heartfelt condolences to all the families who have suffered the tragic loss.
