MEETING
in Kolkata at the Muzaffar Ahmad Bhavan on September 22, the Bengal Left Front
condemned in strongest terms the unleashing of murderous violence by separatist
elements in Coochbehar.
The
Bengal Left Front has adopted a continuous programme of campaign movement to
counter the separatist and divisive conspiracies in north Bengal.
The LF views the Coochbehar incident where separatist goons killed three
police personnel, as a secessionist plot.
The
Coochbehar unit of the Left Front has already initiated moves to go in for a
rigorous campaign movement against the separatist ploys.
The Bengal Left Front has endorsed the district unit’s move.
Speaking to the media after the Bengal LF meeting, LF chairman Biman Basu said that the past few days had seen marches and rallies held throughout Coochbehar condemning the separatist violence.
