THROUGH
separate letters addressed to prime minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, CPI (M) general
secretary, Prakash Karat and Polit Bureau members, Harkishan Singh Surjeet and
Sitaram Yechury, have given their good wishes on completion of one year of UPA
government on May 22. The CPI(M) leaders thanked the PM for the invitation to
attend the meeting of the UPA coordination committee to release the report on
“A Caring Government – One Year of UPA”, followed by dinner. On the
occasion of the completion of one year of the UPA government, they wished him
all success in the coming period for the implementation of the National Common
Minimum Programme and for meeting the aspirations of the common people. They
assured continuing cooperation and support in this endeavour. (INN)
