Condoles PV’s Death
Harkishan Singh Surjeet, general secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement on December 23, 2004:
IN
the passing away of P V Narasimha Rao, the country has lost a senior leader who
was the prime minister and who began his political life as a freedom fighter. As
a leader of the Congress party, Narasimha Rao had held various public positions
including as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and as a central minister in
the union cabinet.
