On Labour Minister’s Manner Of Taking Charge
The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement on November 29
THE
Communist Party of India (Marxist) disapproves of the manner in which K
Chandrasekara Rao took charge as the union labour and employment minister at
Shram Shakti Bhavan in New Delhi. Rao performed a public religious ceremony in a
government office.
Each
individual is entitled to freedom of conscience and the right to freely practice
and propagate religion. But to
convert a government office into a place of public religious ceremony is
violative of the secular principle.
