  South African Ministers Meet CPI(M) Leaders

A TWO member South African delegation comprising Essop Pahad minister under the President, in the Government of South Africa, and Ms G Fraser–Molekeci, minister of public administration visited the CPI(M) headquarters today and held discussion with members of the Polit Bureau Prakash Karat and M K Pandhe and CPI(M)  leader in the Rajya Sabha Nilotpal Basu.

CPI(M) side gave an assessment of the political situation in the country after the Lok Sabha election. The meeting discussed ways in which relations between South Africa and India could be further improved. Cooperation between India and South Africa in the WTO negotiations and to strengthen the bloc of the developing countries was also discussed. (INN)
