Shift Other Cases Also Out of Gujarat
The Polit Bureau
of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) issued the following statement on
April 12, 2004.
THE Supreme Court judgement ordering a retrial in the Best Bakery case and shifting the case to Maharashtra is a grave indictment of the Modi government and how the course of justice has been perverted in the state.
The BJP leadership, if it has any iota of morality, must remove Narendra Modi from the Chief Ministership immediately.
It is imperative that the major cases involving murder, rape and arson cited by the National Human Rights Commission be shifted out of Gujarat for fair trial.
