 CPI(M) Demands Firm Stand On Ayodhya

THE UP state committee of the CPI(M) demanded from the government of the Uttar Pradesh that its should clarify its stand on Babari Masjid demolition issues. It further suggested that the state government must take an uncompromising stand on this sensitive matter.

 

The party wanted the state government to clarify its stand on writ petitions filed against withdrawal of conspiracy charges in Babari Masjid demolition case against deputy prime minister L K Adavani, HRD minister M M Joshi, VHP president Vishnu Hari Dalmiya, VHP vice president Ashoke Singhal, Uma Bharti, Ritambhara, UP BJP president Vinay Katiyar, Acharya Giriraj Kishor.

 

The party emphatically stated that the CBI has withdrawn conspiracy charges against eight accused, including L K Adavani. The BSP-BJP coalition government has also wanted to protect these accused.

 

The party suggested that the Babari Masjid cases should be transferred from the special court, Rae Bareli to Luckhnow and if need be a new notification may be issued with the permission of the court.
