Insurance Workers To Form “People For India” Forums

THE immediate task before every unit of the All India Insurance Employees Association (AIIEA) today is to form a “People for India” forum in its areas as was called upon by the AIIEA’s 19th conference held recently at Raipur.  The conference had also emphasised that the formation of a “People for India” forum at every centre is another step in building up the broader unity of people to fight against the policies of globalisation. It said we cannot fight by trade union struggles alone the problems we face as citizens and as workers. This requires the involvement of people from different walks of life, who are against the policies of globalisation and communalisation.
