AFTER carrying out the murderous carnage on Muslims in Gujarat, the sangh parivar has now started a systematic economic attack against the community in the state. Thousands of pamphlets are being widely circulated among the people calling for a total economic boycott of Muslims.

It calls upon Hindus to boycott all Muslim business establishments and even the eating joints owned by them. The public is being asked to boycott even those films in which Muslim actors and actresses figure. It wants the readers not to purchase whatever is being produced by Muslim artisans saying this is the only weapon available for targeting Muslims.

The pamphlets which are printed in Gujarati carry the words "Jai Sri Ram" on the masthead and has the vague name of Hindu Patriot. They do not carry the mandatory name of the printer or the printing press.

During this carnage there were many reports in the media about the systematic targeting of Muslim establishments, which were mostly grocery shops, bakeries, laundries etc.
