ICHR’s Ban On ‘Towards Freedom’ Volumes
THE executive committee of IHC reiterates its resolution passed at the last session calling upon the ICHR to immediately publish the two volumes of the "Towards Freedom" project, edited by Professor K N Panikkar and Professor Sumit Sarkar. The suspension of publication is undemocratic and uncalled for since it deprives researchers of the use of these historical documents of immense importance. It is regretted that the ICHR has not done anything in this regard so far.
