DYFI Condemns VHP Attack On Qutub

PROTESTING strongly against the VHP workers attempt to storm and perform puja within the premises of the Qutub Minar, the DYFI central committee has demanded that the miscreants, who belonged to various organisations of the sangh parivar, should be severely punished.

On  December 21, some members of VHP and Shiv Sena along with 150 members of Hindu Sena entered the premises of Qutub Minar and the adjoining  mosque and tried to perform puja. They also shouted provocative slogans with a clear intention of raising communal temperature in the nation’s capital.

Fresh from their “success” in Gujarat, the communal elements are attempting to carry forward their communal agenda through such incidents. The VHP has brazenly declared that the Qutub Minar was purposefully chosen by them to perform puja.

The DYFI central committee has called for a country-wide protest from December 26 –31 against such communal activities and has demanded the government to severely  punish those involved in the incident.
