THE Palestinian masses and all Palestinian National and Islamic forces express their strong condemnation of the assaults that targeted innocent civilians and stand in solidarity with the American people as they face this terrible ordeal.

Our people feel the grief and pain of the bereaved families very deeply, as we, ourselves, continue to be victims of Israeli state terrorism which kills and assassinates our loved ones, destroys our homes and communities, imposes sieges on our towns and villages, and creates a state of desolation and want everywhere.

Unfortunately, Israel is exploiting the devastating events in the USA to escalate its brutal aggression against our people by shelling, invading and imposing sieges on the towns of Jenin, Jericho, Qalqilia, Tulkarem, Beit-Sahour and Ramallah, as the attention of the media is concentrated elsewhere. On the other hand, influential Zionist circles are waging a hysterical campaign against the Palestinians, the Arabs and the Muslims in general, in an attempt to create a rift between them and the American people and to justify the so called alliance against terrorism which Israel aspires to join as a major partner.

As we reiterate our unfaltering condemnation of terrorism, we will not tolerate branding our legitimate struggle against the occupation of our land, as such. We, therefore call upon the whole world to differentiate between terrorism and the legitimate struggle against occupation sanctioned by the tenets of religion and international conventions.

During these very trying times, we watch with extreme anxiety the situation growing more threatening and volatile, and call upon the American Administration to refrain from military action which we believe to be futile and catastrophic for the American people and the world at large.

We call upon it to revise its policy based on hegemony and domination which only aggravates the surging feelings of injustice and anger within the oppressed peoples of the world.

We call upon the USA to put an end to its biased policy towards Israel and

to stop its unconditional military, financial and moral support which gives

Israel a free hand, armed with the most sophisticated American arsenal, to

perpetrate its unabated aggression against our people and our land

We call upon it to respect the interests and legitimate rights of all peoples of the world as the only guarantee to safeguarding its own interests and security.

We finally call upon the USA to respect the legitimate, national rights of the Palestinians whose cause is espoused by millions of Arabs, Muslims and free people around the globe.

As we extend our deepest sympathies to the American people, we pray that justice and peace may prevail in our land and the rest of the world..
