THE C H Kanaran Mandiram, from where the CPI(M)’s Kozhikode district committee office is functioning, was attacked by a group of anti-social assailants. They entered the premises of the office and abused the office employees and leaders in the most heinous language. This is not the first time that the office has been subjected to anti-social intimidation. During the earlier UDF rule also, the office was attacked by certain anti-socials in the wake of the struggle against the anti-people education policy of that government. Since the UDF again came to power, such anti-socials have again been let loose against the CPI(M) offices and workers.
