DYFI & TYF Observe Bengal Solidarity Day

THE state committee of the Democratic Youth Federation of India and the central committee of the Tribal Youth Federation organised West Bengal Solidarity Day on May 10 throughout Tripura. In more than 50 places across the state, rallies and street corner meetings were organised by the two youth organisations. In Agartala, after a vibrant rally from Chhatra Yuva Bhavan to Old Motor Stand, youth leaders including DYFI state secretary Amal Chakraborty, SFI state secretary Nabarun Deb and others addressed a street corner meeting. The speakers said the present state of affairs in West Bengal  reminded of the semi fascist Congress -TUJS regime of 1988-92 in Tripura. Condemning the wide spread attacks on the Left cadres and the conspiracy of TMC government to avoid panchayat polls and highlighting the nexus between the chit fund companies and the TMC leadership, they said, youth of Tripura shall as ever stand firm in solidarity with the democratic masses of West Bengal in their fight for democratic rights.
