DPRK Greeted on Kim Il Sung Anniversary

On April 15, through its general secretary Suneet Chopra, the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association sent the following message to Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Worker’s Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), on the occasion of 101st birth anniversary of late Comrade Kim Il Sung.

ON behalf of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association, we wish you greater success in your commendable effort to defend the sovereignty, security and self-reliance of the DPRK based on the principles of Juche and Song-Un enunciated by the Great Leader, Comrade Kim Il Sung and his successor Comrade Kim Jong Il, and now being carried forward by you.

It is to the credit of the Workers Party of Korea and the Korean People’s Army that we see the 101st anniversary of the birth of Comrade Kim Il Sung, with the world watching with pride your defence of the principles of self-reliance, peace and reunification of the Korean people without outside interference.

We in India have stood firmly for the cause of the independence, development and in defence of the Korean people’s right to decide their own form of government and society, led by the Workers Party of Korea under the guidance of its wise leadership.

We firmly condemn the threats and falsehoods being perpetrated by the USA and its allies, demand the withdrawal of UN sanctions against the DPRK and the immediate restoration of peace in the region with the withdrawal of US troops as a precursor to Korean reunification which all the people of Korea have waited for over six decades.
