Blatant Violation of Human Rights

SFI Leader Chained to Hospital Bed

In a blatant violation of fundamental rights, the police under the TMC government in West Bengal chained up Santosh Sahani, an SFI activist to a hospital bed in Siliguri. Santosh Sahani, a first year BA student, was arrested on April 10. After he fell ill, Santosh was admitted to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) on April 15. Treating him in the most inhuman way, the Siliguri Police used handcuffs on his left leg to chain him to the hospital bed.
