On Arrest of P Jayarajan

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement on August 1, 2012.

THE Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) condemns the arrest of P Jayarajan, secretary of the Kannur district committee and a member of the Kerala state committee of the Party.  This arrest charging Jayarajan of conspiracy in a murder case is a deliberate act motivated by political considerations.

The CPI(M) appeals to all democratic minded sections of the people  to strongly protest against this vindictive action.
