CPI(M) Team Visits Cuban Embassy
To Pay Homage to Com Almeida
A
Communist Party of India (Marxist) team led by Sitaram Yechury, Polit
Bureau Member
and consisting of Hari Singh Kang, Central Secretariat member and R
Arun Kumar visited
the Cuban Embassy on September 17 and paid homage to Comrade Juan
Almeida
Bosque, vice-president of the State Council of the Republic of Cuba who
had
passed away on September 13, at the age of 82. Sitaram Yechury placed a
wreath,
on behalf of the Party in front of the
photograph of the departed leader and wrote a
condolence message in the visitor's book. He also handed over
the
written condolence message of the Central Committee to Miguel Angel
Ramirez
